Softball Recap: Detroit Lakes Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fergus Falls last Tuesday, Detroit Lakes came back down to earth. The Lakers fell 8-5 to the Alexandria Cardinals on Tuesday. The Lakers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Detroit Lakes' record now sits at 2-2. As for Alexandria, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-3.

Coming up, Detroit Lakes will challenge St. Cloud Cathedral at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alexandria, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Albany at 4:30 p.m.
