Recap: Gregori Jaguars vs. Pitman Pride
The Gregori Jaguars lost against the Pitman Pride back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Gregori suffered a rough 55-31 loss at the hands of Pitman. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Gregori has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Gregori saw an underclassman step up: Jayson Powers scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Powers hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games.
Pitman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avery Sanchez led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Martin, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Gregori's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Pitman, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7.
Gregori does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pitman also has no future games currently scheduled.
