Senior lineman pulls double duty to give unbeaten Bluffton a unique option at the most important position on the field.

Senior combines with 265-pound Tyler Lindo to help give Bluffton some serious beef in the backfield.

We’ve seen it before. Throw a big ol' lineman in the backfield in short-yardage situations. Remember William "The Fridge" Perry?

But Bluffton (S.C.) coach Ken Cribb took that concept to the next level Friday night in a 25-22 home win over Hilton Head.

Not only was 5-foot-11, 265-pound senior defensive end Tyler Lindo inserted at running back, but look who handed him the ball — 5-9, 338-pound senior noseguard and center Jhabias Johnson.

As seen in the video above, Lindo and Johnson put the first two touchdowns of the night on the board as the Bobcats improved to 5-0 on the season.

We can only hope Bluffton continues to roll out this jumbo package.
