Softball Recap: Swett Warriors vs. El Cerrito Gauchos
After flying high against Vallejo last Friday, Swett came back down to earth. The Swett Warriors came up short against the El Cerrito Gauchos on Wednesday, falling 15-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 13-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2020.
Swett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebekah Millan, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Swett's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Looking ahead, Swett will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for El Cerrito, they will head out on the road to take on Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
