Philip is 9-1 against Sully Buttes since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Scotties will head out to square off against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Philip came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Hill City, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Scotties in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-13, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Sully Buttes didn't have quite enough to beat Gettysburg on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Sully Buttes started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-20, 15-12.

Sully Buttes' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Philip, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Philip couldn't quite get it done against Sully Buttes in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Scotties avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
