Volleyball Recap: Lapeer Takes a Loss

Lapeer lost against Anchor Bay back in October of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lightning fell just short of the Tars by a score of 2-1.

Allison Steffler paced Lapeer's offense, picking up eight kills. Steffler got some help from Allison Rutledge and her 17 assists. Elizabeth Fisher controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Lapeer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for Anchor Bay, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-15-1 record this season.

Lapeer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Saginaw on the 30th. As for Anchor Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Dakota on the 30th.
