Soccer Recap: Jordan-Matthews Comes Up Short

Jordan-Matthews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Southeast Alamance Stallions, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Southeast Alamance this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Jordan-Matthews' goal came courtesy of G?nesis Granados, who's now up to four this season.

Jordan-Matthews' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Southeast Alamance, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-2 record this season.

Jordan-Matthews has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against North Moore on the 24th. As for Southeast Alamance, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Bartlett Yancey on the 28th.
