Football Recap: Seaside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Seaside lost against Marist back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seagulls were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 35-7. The Seagulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deshawn Jackson had a dynamite game For Marist., throwing for 255 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Seaside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Marist, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-3.

Seaside and Marist will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Seagulls see the field they'll take on Scappoose at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Marist, their break will end when they face Sweet Home at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
