Baseball Recap: Harmony Eagles vs. Quitman Bulldogs
Harmony put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Quitman Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Harmony sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Jake Rider and Boston Seahorn did most of the damage at the plate: Rider scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Seahorn scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Young, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Harmony's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-5-1. As for Quitman, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16-1.
