Recap: Dighton Hornets vs. Otis-Bison Cougars

There's no place like home for the Dighton Hornets, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They took down Otis-Bison 42-26 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Dighton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Dighton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rielly James out in front who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. James has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Myers, who scored eight points along with five steals.

Dighton's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Otis-Bison, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dighton will take on Greeley County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Otis-Bison, they will be playing at home against Sylvan-Lucas on Friday. Sylvan-Lucas knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Otis-Bison likes a good challenge.
