Volleyball Recap: Leesville Road Takes a Loss

Leesville Road was the 3-0 winner over Jordan when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pride fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. While the Pride didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 25-17 in the first set.

Leesville Road actually scored more points across those five sets (99-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-20, 25-21, 13-25, 15-8.

Despite the loss, Leesville Road still got an impressive performance from Taylor Pasternak, who had 15 digs and four aces.

Leesville Road's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Leesville Road will head out to take on Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jordan, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
