Basketball Game Preview: Selma Bears vs. Kerman Lions

Selma and Kerman are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Selma Bears will host the Kerman Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Selma is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Selma is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2024 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 76-48 loss at the hands of Immanuel.

Meanwhile, Kerman earned a 62-53 win over Reedley on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Selma better keep an eye on Daniel Bibioff. He was instrumental in Kerman's win, going 10 of 20 en route to 36 points. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Bibioff has scored at least a third of Kerman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Von Bibioff, who posted 13 points.

Kerman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Selma, their loss dropped their record down to 4-20.

Selma came up short against Kerman when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 65-58. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bibioff, who went 14 for 25 on his way to 40 points and three steals. Now that Selma knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
