Basketball Game Preview: Fayetteville Lions vs. Calvert Trojans

Fayetteville and Calvert are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Fayetteville Lions will be playing at home against the Calvert Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Fayetteville will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fayetteville challenged Richards on Friday. Fayetteville walked away with a 51-38 victory over Richards.

Meanwhile, Calvert unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 74-44 loss at the hands of Richards.

Fayetteville pushed their record up to 21-8 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Calvert, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Fayetteville took their victory against Calvert in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 71-45. Will Fayetteville repeat their success, or does Calvert have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
