Soccer Game Preview: Zimmerman vs. Chisago Lakes Area

The Zimmerman Thunder will head out on the road to face off against the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Zimmerman took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Maranatha Christian Academy by a score of 4-2. The high-scoring effort was just what Zimmerman needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Chisago Lakes Area came into Thursday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and North Branch finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Chisago Lakes Area as the team haven't won a game since September 3rd.

Zimmerman's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. With that draw, Chisago Lakes Area's record moves to 1-10-1.
