Volleyball Recap: Central Crossing's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Briggs typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Central Crossing proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Central Crossing won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-23.

Leading Central Crossing to victory were Emily Jude and Lily Dinovo. Jude had ten digs and three aces, while Dinovo had four digs and one assist. Those four digs gave Dinovo a new career-high.

Central Crossing's win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-14. As for Briggs, they moved to 15-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
