Game recap: Northridge posts big fourth quarter in win over Fremont

Northridge (Layton, Utah) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 14 in the fourth quarter to seal a 42-18 victory over
Fremont (Plain City, Utah).
The Knights were up 21-11 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Nate Kusuda to
Zach Hayes in the first quarter.
Northridge expanded its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. NHS's lone score in the quarter came on a
David Adams touchdown run.
The Silver Wolves'
Efrain Perez was the standout player for his team. He kicked one field goal.
Kusuda stood out for the Layton school in the win. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
The Knights got revenge for last year's 27-14 loss to Fremont with the victory.
Northridge (5-0) goes up against Weber in a 5A Region 1 game matchup next week, while Fremont (0-5) locks horns with Davis also in a 5A Region 1 game.
