Softball Recap: Connersville Comes Up Short

Connersville lost against East Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Bre Brock made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmen Ruble, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Connersville has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for East Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Connersville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-8 loss against Yorktown on the 10th. As for East Central, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against Columbus North on the 9th.
