Flag Football Recap: Mitchell County Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dougherty, Mitchell County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Crisp County Cougars 14-13. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The critical scores for Mitchell County came from JAVIAH Martin and MADYSON Smith.

Mitchell County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Crisp County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Mitchell County is taking a road trip to take on Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Tornadoes' defense has only allowed 12.5 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Crisp County, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hawkinsville at 5:30 p.m.
