Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Harper Barnett and Bradi Weideman Lead Rockwall to Victory

Rockwall won the last time they faced Hockaday and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Daisies with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Rockwall was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-21.

Leading Rockwall to victory were Bradi Weideman and Harper Barnett. Weideman had 11 digs and three aces, while Barnett had 21 assists. Those 11 digs gave Weideman a new career-high. Alayah Wilson also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Rockwall was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They are 2-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

The win got Rockwall back to even at 4-4. As for Hockaday, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-6.

Rockwall has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Flower Mound on the 19th. As for Hockaday, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Liberty Christian on the 19th.
