Recap: Palmetto vs. Walhalla
On Saturday, the Palmetto Mustangs's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Walhalla by a score of 3-1.
Palmetto hit Walhalla with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Elias Govea III,
Daniel Garcia, and
Jovani Hernandez.
Palmetto now has a winning record of 1-0-2. As for Walhalla, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmetto will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walhalla is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th.
