Basketball Recap: Saline's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Saline's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They managed a 45-40 win over the Monroe Trojans. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Saline's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Monroe, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Saline (ranked 363rd) will meet Lincoln (ranked 156th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Monroe will square off against Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 378 places (574 vs. 196).
