Softball Recap: Governor Livingston Takes a Loss

Governor Livingston lost against Scotch Plains-Fanwood on April 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highlanders fell 9-4 to the Raiders. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lily Sandholm made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Governor Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Governor Livingston will venture away from home to face off against Dayton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they will take on Westfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
