Volleyball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel lost against Monterey last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Padres fell 2-0 to the Dores. The Padres just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Monterey, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carmel is set to square off against their familiar foe Seaside at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. Meanwhile, Monterey will take on rival Alisal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
