Basketball Recap: Weaubleau Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Weaubleau duked it out withCrocker on Friday. The Weaubleau Tigers fell just short of the Crocker Lions by a score of 46-43. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Weaubleau dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Crocker, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Weaubleau didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-62 win against Dadeville on the 28th. Crocker has also already played their next game, a 55-53 loss against Osceola on the 28th.
