Volleyball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Woodcrest Christian lost against West Valley on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Royals fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Woodcrest Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14.

West Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sheiann Rosales, who had six aces. Those six aces gave Rosales a new career-high.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Valley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Woodcrest Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Valley, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Lakeside on the 9th.
