Basketball Recap: Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Johnson County Sports Association Lions.

Johnson County Sports Association found their leader in sophomore Tucker Grayson, who posted 14 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Grayson has scored at least a third of Johnson County Sports Association's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Calaway, who scored two points.

Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Johnson County Sports Association, their victory bumped their record up to 5-15.

As of now, neither Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy nor Johnson County Sports Association have any future games scheduled.
