Basketball Recap: Beatrice Wins Going Away Against Standing Bear

On Saturday, the Beatrice Orangemen didn't have too much trouble with the Standing Bear Grizzlies as they won 52-37.

Standing Bear's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Braylee Vasa, who posted 14 points and five boards, and Sydnie Cain, who put up three points and nine rebounds.

Beatrice's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Standing Bear, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Beatrice will square off against Minden at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Minden will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Beatrice surely won't give up without a fight. As for Standing Bear, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Norris at 5:45 p.m.
