Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwestern Heights). They blew past the Deerfield Spartans 68-34 on Tuesday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 24 points or more this season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trey Hill, who posted six points and six rebounds. Those six points gave Hill a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristian Botello, who earned six points.

Southwestern Heights moved to 4-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Deerfield, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Southwestern Heights will challenge Wichita County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Deerfield, they will venture away from home to take on Satanta at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Deerfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season.
