Basketball Recap: Peninsula Catholic Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Peninsula Catholic had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Seton Conquistadors by a score of 53-43.

Peninsula Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaylen Wynn led the charge by putting up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zyon McClone, who posted 13 points.

Peninsula Catholic pushed their record up to 25-10 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Seton, they moved to 14-6 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Peninsula Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-51 victory against North Cross on the 28th. Seton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
