After failing to score in their last contest, Martin County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Johnson Central on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-3 win over the Golden Eagles. Martin County have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Johnson Central, too.

Martin County's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Johnson Central, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Martin County will take on rival Belfry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Johnson Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Pikeville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
