Baseball Recap: Wynford Takes a Loss

Wynford was the 4-0 winner over Mohawk when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals came up short against the Warriors on Wednesday, falling 10-1.

Wynford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Wynford's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Mohawk, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Wynford will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Lucas at 5:00 p.m. The Royals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cubs have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Mohawk, they will square off against Seneca East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
