Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Catholic Trojans vs. Battle Creek Braves

Cedar Catholic and Battle Creek are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Cedar Catholic Trojans will square off against the Battle Creek Braves on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Cedar Catholic came up short against Elkhorn Valley and fell 50-41. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 13-9 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Battle Creek also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to O'Neill by a score of 56-47.

Cedar Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Battle Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

Cedar Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Battle Creek in their previous meeting last Monday, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win. Does Cedar Catholic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Battle Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
