Baseball Recap: Westlake Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westlake can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Chaparrals have suffered since April 5th.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 27-8-1. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Westlake nor Pharr-San Juan-Alamo have any future games scheduled.
