Volleyball Recap: Conifer Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Battle Mountain, Conifer was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Hinkley Thunder with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lobos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-17.

Conifer's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keira Tracy led the charge by getting 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Tracy has posted since back in November of 2024.

Conifer was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hinkley didn't served any.

When it comes to explaining why Hinkley lost, don't look at Jeralyn Navarro. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs.

Conifer pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hinkley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season.

Conifer has already played their next match (against Skyline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hinkley, they will challenge Alameda at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
