Basketball Recap: Louisburg Skates Past Harrells Christian Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Louisburg). They blew past the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders 64-20 on Saturday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Crusaders are ranked 502nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Louisburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than CHLOE ARRINGTON, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 17 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. The contest was ARRINGTON's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of RYANNE ARRINGTON, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 13 points along with four steals and three blocks.

Louisburg now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Louisburg has already played their next game, a 39-33 defeat against Vance County on the 10th. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-19 loss against Cape Fear Academy on the 10th.
