Basketball Recap: Highland Beats Valencia for Their Third Straight Victory

Highland extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jesus Licon. The Highland Hornets came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 48-43 W against the Valencia Jaguars which was due in part to Licon, who went 6-for-12 en route to 21 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Highland's points.

Jerry Moody was another key player, putting up four points along with 11 boards and three blocks. He has become a key player for Highland: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least three blocks, but 9-10 otherwise.
