Baseball Recap: Inglemoor's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Inglemoor entered their tilt with Redmond on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs, sneaking past 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Mustangs on April 4th, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Henry Kresken tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jeffery Myhre, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedan Howe, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Inglemoor pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Redmond, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Inglemoor will take on Seattle Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Redmond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
