Soccer Game Preview: Royal Palm Beach vs. Leonard

The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats will head out to face off against the Leonard Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Royal Palm Beach's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Royal Palm Beach sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Park Vista. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Cobras are ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Royal Palm Beach hit Park Vista with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sebastian Manjarres, Danni Rodriguez, and Cayden Spositi.

Meanwhile, Leonard had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They never let the Broncos onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. The game marked the Lancers' most dominant victory of the season.

Royal Palm Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those ten contests. As for Leonard, their win bumped their record up to 9-1-2.
