Eight must be Westfield's lucky number: they beat Newark with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Bulldogs beat the Reds by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-1. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Newark, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Westfield will host Chantilly at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Newark, they will venture away from home to take on Midlakes at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
