Basketball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 67-58 to the Seneca Bobcats. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 59-57 to them when the teams met back in February of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Seneca's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Stu Finley, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Hunter, who posted 15 points and five assists.

Berea now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Seneca, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Berea will host Daniel at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Daniel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.5 points per game this season. As for Seneca, they will head out on the road to face off against Greer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Seneca also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 67.6 points per game.
