Basketball Game Preview: Brewster Bears vs. Lake Roosevelt Raiders

The Brewster Bears will face off against the Lake Roosevelt Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Brewster took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They strolled past Cle Elum-Roslyn with points to spare, taking the game 70-52.

Meanwhile, Lake Roosevelt made easy work of White Swan on Saturday and carried off a 62-40 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season.

Brewster's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Lake Roosevelt, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Brewster ended up a good deal behind Lake Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, losing 79-62. Can Brewster avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
