Softball Recap: Hawthorne Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hawthorne's offense. They lost 16-0 to the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hawthorne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubree Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Hawthorne now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for P.K. Yonge, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12.

As of now, neither Hawthorne nor the Blue Wave have any future games scheduled.
