Volleyball Game Preview: Ludlowe Falcons vs. St. Joseph Cadets

The Ludlowe Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Joseph Cadets at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ludlowe will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Ludlowe got the win against Norwalk by a conclusive 3-0.

Ludlowe was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-17, 25-16.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between St. Joseph and Bridgeport Central, and St. Joseph kept the tradition alive. The Cadets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hilltoppers on Tuesday.

Ludlowe's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for St. Joseph, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Ludlowe took their victory against St. Joseph in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
