Basketball Game Preview: Memphis Business Academy Execs vs. Fairley Bulldogs

The Memphis Business Academy Execs will take on the Fairley Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Memphis Business Academy comes in on four and Fairley on 13.

Last Tuesday, Memphis Business Academy strolled past Wooddale with points to spare, taking the game 68-50.

Meanwhile, Fairley didn't have too much trouble with Douglass on Tuesday as they won 70-53. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Red Devils are ranked 289th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Memphis Business Academy better focus on containing Isaiah Grant and Brandon Chatman as the pair were huge in Fairley's win. Grant dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards, while Chatman dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds. Chatman is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Issac Wright Jr. was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Fairley's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Memphis Business Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 21-9.

Memphis Business Academy came up short against Fairley in their previous meeting back in February, falling 75-71. Can Memphis Business Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
