Football Recap: Bridgeprep Village Green Starts Season with Win on the Road

BridgePrep Village Green had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Miami Country Day Spartans 27-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

BridgePrep Village Green found their leader in freshman Julian Clavelo, who rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

BridgePrep Village Green didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Nehemiah Floyd and Nathan Rodriguez.

Looking ahead, BridgePrep Village Green will be playing in front of their home fans against Coral Shores at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami Country Day, they will head out on the road to take on Palmer Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
