League recap: Burke throws longest pass in league this season for North Valley

Tristan Burke and Austin Neill provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Mazama. The connection was good for 77 yards, the longest such play in 4A Skyline this season.

North Valley took down the Vikings 56-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Burke threw for 385 yards and six touchdowns and ran for 68 yards in the win.

The Knights' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Neill chipped in 113 yards. Neill helped North Valley's passing attack out by catching two balls for 90 yards.

Kyle Rose was the best wideout in the league this week as North Valley beat Mazama. Rose racked up three receptions for 131 yards.

North Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Burke has thrown for 1063 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Rose has 14 catches for 263 yards. Neill leads the league in rushing with 552 yards.

Hidden Valley made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,569 from 7,310. The improvement came about via a 27-0 victory over Phoenix last week.
