            Strasburg hasn't had much luck against Page County recently, but that could start to change  on Wednesday. The Rams will challenge the Panthers. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Strasburg comes in on five and Page County on 16.
Strasburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Monday. They walked away with  a   4-1  win over Buckingham.

 Ava Mayhew spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Camille Greco was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Merriner, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
 Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when Page County took on Stuarts Draft on Monday. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Cougars  3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Panthers have posted  against the Cougars since April 19, 2018.
 Page County's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 19-3. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Strasburg, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
 Strasburg suffered a grim  6-0 defeat to Page County  in their previous meeting  back in May. Can the Rams avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
