Basketball Game Preview: Litchfield Terriers vs. Pansophia Academy Pansophia Pumas

Litchfield is a perfect 3-0 against Pansophia Academy since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Terriers will venture away from home to take on the Pansophia Pumas at 7:00 p.m. Pansophia Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Litchfield, who comes in off a win.

While Terriers fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over Calhoun Christian on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Terriers have beaten the Cougars on their court since February 8, 2016.

Meanwhile, Pansophia Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by Hudson and fell 73-19. The Pansophia Pumas were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-10.

Litchfield will have to contain Greyson Tomlinson as he made an impact in Pansophia Academy's last game. He dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. Tomlinson has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 12 times he's played.

Everything went Litchfield's way against Pansophia Academy when the teams last played back in February, as Litchfield made off with a 57-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terriers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
