Basketball Recap: Castlewood Takes a Loss

Castlewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Council Cobras 74-35. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cobras earlier this season, when they won 63-30.

Castlewood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Council, they moved to 1-11 with that win, which also ended their 22-game losing streak.

Castlewood is taking a road trip to face off against Tazewell at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Castlewood is facing Tazewell at the right time seeing as Tazewell is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Council, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-31 loss against Hurley on the 28th.
