Basketball Recap: Wells Takes a Loss

Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Region Lakers. The Warriors were probably out for revenge after losing 51-48 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lake Region, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Wells will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Poland at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Lake Region, they will host Waynflete at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Region is facing Waynflete at the right time seeing as Waynflete is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
